WellStrata is an AI-powered oil and gas data platform built by Birova.ai.
Why we built it
State regulatory agencies publish the raw data. But getting from a state FTP download to a clean, queryable, production-ready dataset takes days of engineering work — every month. Operators and analysts at independent E&P companies told us they were spending more time wrangling state portal data than actually analyzing it.
WellStrata automates the entire pipeline: download, parse, normalize, QC-score, and expose via API and natural language query. So engineers spend time on decisions, not on data plumbing.

WellStrata ingests from state and federal regulators across 18+ states plus the offshore Gulf of Mexico:
